DAY 1: GUWAHATI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
  • Maa Kamakhya Temple

  • Umananda Temple (The world’s smallest river island). To go there, you have to travel by ship/boat.

DAY 2: GUWAHATI TO KAZIRANGA
  • Morning visit Kamakhya Temple and proceed to Kaziranga

  • 1:30 P.M Jeep Safari

  • Evening Assamese cultural program

DAY 3: KAZIRANGA TO DIRANG
  • Elephant Safari

Start early morning (Approx 9 hrs journey)

Visit:

  • Brahmaputra river view (Assam)

  • Assam tea garden

  • Tipi Orchidarium

  • Visit Nag Mandir

  • Nichiphu Tunnel

  • Nichiphu waterfalls

  • Jameri Hanging Bridge

  • Nag Mandir

  • Bomdila view point

DAY 4: DIRANG TO TAWANG

Depart in the morning for Tawang (Approx. 6 hrs)

Visit:

  • Sela Warriors

  • Boishakhi

  • Sela Pass (13,700 ft) – Scenic high-altitude pass

  • Sela Lake – Ideal for photography

  • Jaswant Garh War Memorial – Tribute to Jaswant Singh (1962 Indo-China War)

  • Nuranang Waterfalls (Jang Waterfall)

Nuranang Falls gained mainstream attention when Bollywood shot the song Tanhai (from Koyla, 1997) here—making it the first Bollywood song filmed in Arunachal Pradesh. Later, the 2000 film Hiya Diya Niya also featured the falls.

Evening arrival in Tawang, check-in and rest.

DAY 5: TAWANG – BUMLA PASS & SANGESTAR (MADHURI) LAKE
  • Drive to Bum La Pass (15,200 ft, Indo-China Border) – Requires a special permit; local vehicle to be arranged (Our vehicle not allowed)

Visit:

  • Pankang Teng Tso Lake (PT Tso Lake) – High-altitude serene lake

  • Sangestar Lake (Madhuri Lake) – Scenic lake made famous by Bollywood

DAY 6: TAWANG TO HOLY WATER FALLS

Holy Waterfall (Chumi Gyatser) is a sacred natural site of 108 holy streams, blessed by Guru Padmasambhava, symbolizing purity, peace, and divine energy in the Himalayas.

The Holy Waterfall, also known locally as Chumi Gyatser, is one of the most sacred sites in Tawang District, Arunachal Pradesh, near the Indo-China border.

The road to Holy Water Falls is off-roading. The view here is very beautiful. You’ll have to drive carefully and enjoy the fun of snow along the way. (Our vehicle not allowed and in this package bill, the taxi for Holy Waterfalls is not included.)

DAY 7: TAWANG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
  • Tawang War Memorial – A tribute to soldiers who fought in the 1962 Indo-China war

Evening: Craft Centre & Emporium – Explore traditional Monpa handicrafts and local market, attend Light & Sound Show with a cultural program.

  • Tawang Monastery – The largest monastery in India, founded in the 17th century by Merak Lama Lodre Gyatso (400 years old)

  • Giant Buddha Statue – A stunning golden Buddha overlooking the town

  • Chagzam Bridge – Historic iron suspension bridge located near Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, India. The bridge is approximately 100 meters long and 2 meters wide, suspended by iron chains with woven bamboo walking surface (once the road is good, we can go).

Evening: Craft Centre & Emporium visit and Light & Sound cultural program.

DAY 8: TAWANG TO SANGTI VALLEY
  • Sela Tunnel

  • Sela War Memorial

  • Dirang hot water spring

  • Dirang Monastery

  • Sangti Valley – Beautiful landscape with rivers and apple orchards. Historically a trade route between Tibet and Arunachal, now famous for scenic beauty and seasonal visits by black-necked cranes.

  • Bomdila Monastery

  • Mandala Top (Taxi fare extra)

  • Bomdila Monastery

DAY 9: SANGTI VALLEY TO GUWAHATI
  • Shergaon Apple and Kiwi Garden (available during season time)

  • Shergaon Hanging Bridge

  • Tenzin Gaon View Point

  • Bhutan border visit
